According to the Grand Lodge, Mt. Akra lodge #680 was chartered on 10/19/1922.
In 1997 Ernest F Schaeffer lodge #739 merged with W Edwin Palmer lodge#718 and became Old Portage lodge #718.
Old Portage lodge then merged with Mt. Akra #680 but kept the Old Portage lodge building, that is why our sign still says Old Portage Temple.
